Let's be More like Scandinavia
So the Left is always seems to idealize Scandinavia as what the US should model itself off of. So I say we give in and become a little bit more like Scandinavia. Just like the Scandinavian countries, lets reduce minimum wage to $0.00.

Re: Let's be More like Scandinavia
In the Scandinavian model we let the Labor markets determine salaries through central negotiations. The lawmakers don't interfere. If a company don't follow these central agreements between employee organizations and the unions they will be subject to Industrial action by the unions.
The Unions in Scandinavia wield a lot of power. US companies like Toys are Us, 7-Eleven and Mac Donald's have all tried to take on the Swedish unions and failed miserably.
One of the goals is to make sure that companies that can't afford to pay the same salaries as others shouldn't be allowed to live on, tieing up resources like labor and means of production. It's a belief in creative destruction.
Both camps, labor and employers, are quite happy with the model. If the politicians starts threatening with laws they stand united against it.
There are a few exceptions. The Employment Protection Act is the most controversial today. It is at the center of an infected conflict within the current ruling coalition and that is a good example of why such laws should be avoided.

Young Scandinavians Are Sticking Nicotine Pouches Up Their Asses
Young Danes are sticking nicotine pouches up their asses and inside their foreskins in a trend that’s left health experts concerned and baffled.....
Denmark is not the only Scandinavian country where teenagers seem to be putting nicotine pouches in odd spaces. A student in Norway, who asked to remain anonymous, also told Motherboard about how he had experimented with placing snus inside his foreskin.
