2020 election thread - Biden vs Trump

Post by PartyOf5 » Wed Apr 15, 2020 8:13 am

Now that Biden is the last Democrat nominee standing, and with COVID throwing curveballs at the election process, I figured the 2020 election need a new thread.

As bad as Biden is, the pandemic could have a significant effect on the election. It's still a long ways away, but Wisconsin election results showed a big turnout for Democrats compared to Republicans in what is a purple state. At this time COVID is Biden's best running mate.

The media is also back on the 24/7 Trump attack plan after a brief let-up when COVID began.

I think there will be an election in November, but it will be altered by the pandemic. GOP turnout could be subdued as the older demographic stays home. Maybe they will have absentee voting figured out by then to handle the increase. That method increases opportunity for shenanigans and fraud.

Still feeling like Trump will hold on to win, but things could get close with all the new variables in the mix.
