Using YouTube to Break Conditioning and Heal the Racial Divide

Post by DBTrek » Wed Jan 16, 2019 12:41 am

Many powerful organizations are invested in making us feel a lot of ways about certain topics. We are subjected to a lot of forces continuously trying to shape our worldview. I've discovered a way around some of these reality-filter modification techniques, and I'm going to share it here for anyone interested in taking a run for the fence.

I love music. You may have noticed people of other races love music too. So what? So . . . where there's commonality there can be some connection. These videos offer an opportunity to observe folks directly, rather than assembling a mental picture of them through media stories, entertainment, and Twitter feeds.

I'm talking about reaction videos.

If you get creative with it, you can learn about people by watching how they react to music with a message. For instance, How do some random black people feel about racism in America, MAGA, and NFL protests? Allow me:

Or this

Or this

Or this

Diving into all this socio-political morass might be a little heavy for a first outing, so maybe you'd rather see them take a hit of Alice In Chains for the first time:

Or Metallica

Or whatever. Maybe this is just one of those strange things that only appeals to me . . . wouldn't be the first time.

I remember trying to relate to some black dudes and saying "man when obama won I actually cried" and they said that was "hella gay" and would not pass the blunt and started roasting me so I took the rest of my weed that I was letting them hit off of cause i purchased it off them got in my car and never tried to relate to black people again.

Sorry to hear that. I was jumped by a black kid at recess when I was 8, for no reason I could fathom. At 15 I had a group of them jump me, because I was carrying a baseball bat prop from the drama department to my locker. But to be fair, I got jumped by more whites than blacks. Such is the life of a kid that moves around a lot and is always the "new guy" - you learn to fight out of necessity, not desire.

On the flip side, in the Army I met a lot of cool, relatable, reliable black guys. Funny motherfuckers that would invite me to their Kung-Fu movie marathon parties when I was freezing my ass off in Korea with nothing to do. These guys who post videos reacting to music and talking about how they interpret shit, they're more like the relatable blacks.

But I'm into watching people and deconstructing their behavior and statements to glean insight into their character. One of the reasons I like stand-up comedy. Most of it is lies, but some of it is comedians couching their own uncomfortable truths in jokes so they can finally say what's on their mind. For me, these reaction videos are kind of like that.

I'm just kidding. Weed is for fags. I don't hang around blacks when I can help it because I don't like the way they act or smell.

This CBD oil is out of sight. Cures body aches and winds down my mind without the paranoia I often get with THC. They want a mint for the stuff at headshops though. Where to get cheaper?

That's a great video. Too bad you never see any of the MSM doing things like this.

Racism is not a conservative, liberal, Republican, or Democrat thing. I have encountered white people from all political affiliations that have been racist against black people.

Proving that leftists of all races have problems hearing any ideas that aren't theirs.
