My guess is The Comey Gang know the allegations that are going to be made and their only hope is to make it appear as much like a political hit by the Right as possible.

Kinda like the story about Wikileaks, as far as the news was concerned the headline was about the hacking, not the actual information made public which resulted in the entire DNC board resigning. This Witch Hunt will be more about the political motivation behind the investigation than any wrongdoing discovered as far as the MSM is concerned.
