Why have Democrats completely screwed the pooch? This time a couple years ago they were talking about the end of the Republican party but if anything they have only grown stronger. But that leads me to my next question; for what purpose? Republicans have failed us Americans just as completely as any Democrat has. To what end do we hope our votes will be a protest against the globohomogayplex world order that it seems most Republicans loathe? Why should we believe that there is anything to gain by voting Republican? I mean the only thing tangible I have seen by doing so is getting some tax cuts and some crusty neocon appointed to the SCOTUS. Republicans seem to be good at keeping the gun grabbers at bay tho so there is that much at least. Is there a way for any real change to be made in the long run? Demographics are not on our side. Not even for another 10 years can we Americans hold majority. I suppose we will all be forced into the Republican camp as this happens but I want to see us shape the Republican party and not be shaped by them.
