There are plenty of Americans who are actually transracial. It means they're from a blended family. Nothing to do with white people who pass for other races. They'll have to come up with another word - transracial is taken.
Also, you should talk to an endocrinologist or geneticist - many believe there is a physical basis for the rise in transexuality/gender dysmorphia.
