Yesterday I answered a political reporter’s query on why I didn’t attend the LOWV-sponsored debate:
“The League is an anachronistic sexist organization such that I do not feel welcome or included.”

That sounds exclusionary.Any organization with sex, race, or religion in its name is no longer proper for the public sphere for the same exclusionary reasons that these same organizations ironically claim to pursue.
