Cool. I think you ought to accentuate more the fact that you do not accept money and oppose the inherent corruption that entails. Drive that home against opponents by looking up who funded them. In debates point out that they might as well wear corporate and special interest patches on their pantsuits like political NASCAR drivers.

Also, your small business plan is light-years better than any GOP ideas. You could argue that you'd do more for much of the small business voters the GOP depend upon than the GOP.

I probably would clean up the last few parts. the *** is nice, as a separator, but it doesn't translate well when it's all one paragraph.

They don't allow paragraph breaks, numbering, indenting, or capitalizing whole words. That's the best I could get through them. The Conservative wrote: ↑Tue Jul 17, 2018 9:03 amI probably would clean up the last few parts. the *** is nice, as a separator, but it doesn't translate well when it's all one paragraph.

Oy, they need to update their system...Martin Hash wrote: ↑Tue Jul 17, 2018 9:05 amThey don't allow paragraph breaks, numbering, indenting, or capitalizing whole words. Also, as good as your education is, and experience is extensive, most people will look at it and say "great, another educated person who is going to tell us how to do things."
We have enough doctors, lawyers, etc in Congress, and our elected officials, what most people want is someone they can not only relate to, but someone who they can not feel like they are being talked down to... and I hate to say it, but you do come off like that a bit.
Also, explain more in detail instead of saying "listen to my podcast" how you'd theoretically do things... because most people don't want to listen to others saying how it's going to be done in a pre-recorded session, we get that enough on TV, etc as it is...
Meh... personally, you promise a lot, but how will you afford it, and don't say listen to my podcast... expect to be asked this if you ever get on stage.

Thanks for you input.
I can only run as the kind of candidate who I would like representing me; I'm tired of second-raters. I have never won an election so obviously people would prefer second-raters, which gives me the pervese pleasure is exposing how ridiculous the system is.

Oh, I agree... run as the candidate you want to have represent you, but you also have to remember, just like Shakespear, he catered to the upper class, and lower class in the same play, almost at the same time as well.Martin Hash wrote: ↑Tue Jul 17, 2018 9:25 amThanks for you input.

A good candidate can do the same thing, which means you may just need to get out of your comfort zone, because being the candidate you want to represent you, should also represent the people...not just yourself.
If you haven't won, then perhaps you need re-evaluate how you are attempting to represent your ideas to people.
I don't mean to sound mean, but remember Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?
Remember, Zaphod Beeblebrox? How he beat Humma Kavula, because Humma Kavula's statement was "Don't vote for Stupid!"? Humma ran on the premise that he was smarter than everyone else, and of course could run the galaxy without an issue. What he didn't realize was that the Galaxy President had no real power, and really doesn't still.
Intelligence will only get you so far, it may open the door, you need to take your foot and break the fucking door down. The only way to do that is to look at what failed, and see if there is a way to change it without compromise.
It's not easy, but you don't want to be remembered at a Hillary Clinton, or a John Kerry type candidate which keeps trying the same thing over, and over again and failing at the end because they refuse to change when things start going south.
