Meanwhile fathers alienated from their children for profit, enslaved for real, and who cannot pay the onerous slave debt are imprisoned while these same democrats label those actual victims of slavery as "deadbeats".
When do we launch the helicopters??

Apparently the selection show was a steaming pile of excrement.

Please do not call 911 to complain about the format of the NCAA tournament selection show. We can’t do anything about it, no matter how bad it is.

I am protesting this barbaric sport and exploitative practice by continuing my 28 year long boycott of not watching the NCAA. May you all one day be as virtuous as I am

It's the same every year, here. Nerd gets excited, takes Thur & Fri off to watch the games, stays into it until Kansas loses. Pouts for a couple of hours. Ignore rest of tournament. Life back to normal.
Always a good time.

Most of these players benefit in the form of scholarships.

Greatest thread title ever.
I stand with PineappleMike, though slightly higher. My purity stands at nearly 40 years of disregarding the tournament, except for a single game, when I was entered into a guessing-pool with some coworkers. I quickly realized why I had never bothered watching it.

I hear the NCAA is basketball at it's finest.
People go crazy for that shit around here.... I mean when they have time, between the Hockey Talk.

I hear folks complaining about minor hockey the way these guys complain about the NCAA...
The athletes are expected to compete for peanuts or free, wheras the team owners can make some decent money...
But it's not racialized so no one gets very excited about it.
