Big city culture critic on its death bed
Anyone else feels we are just a couple of months away from the death of those media figures despite some high level witch hunts happening?

I think what's happening is at least eight weeks away from those personages being on their last legs, though I think the reviewers of the metropolitan civilization will continue on regardless of the inquisition.

They are afraid of ridicule, they cannot go on forever.JohnDonne wrote:I think what's happening is at least eight weeks away from those personages being on their last legs, though I think the reviewers of the metropolitan civilization will continue on regardless of the inquisition.

We need to wall off the cities before they try to get out.

It's weird but movie studios seem to be the only ones (these days) to take critics' reviews/opinions seriously. I mean RT is like a gold standard for them but a lot of audiences feel like RT is overrated.

There is at least one renegade. No way this was a happy accident in Netflix's first mass appeal blockbuster movie.Penner wrote:It's weird but movie studios seem to be the only ones (these days) to take critics' reviews/opinions seriously. One of the production companies which pops up before the film starts is called Trigger Warning Entertainment. For a film pitching itself as a thoughtful allegory for race relations in America, it’s a wonderful start.

I don't have a crystal ball Hwen, but I have a hunch that this movie you are recommending is probably complete dogshit. I don't think a professional movie critic evens need to get involved.Hwen Hoshino wrote:There is at least one renegade.
