No wonder the dude is disillusioned, he grew up in smog-fuck China, worked at Goldman, and then studied touchy feels at Stanford. Poor guy.
Anyway, the story had a rambling, plodding sort of feel. It was really only about the 'western elites' in a tangential sort of way. He actually sounds like Hash, to wit, Lucktocracy.
