Well, the Fins do have five first round picks from last year on their blueline:
Heiskanen, Välimäki, Juolevi, Vaakanainen and Jokiharju. That's what I call a stacked D-core.

So they are no slouches, not an easy win by any means. Would suck to lose to those Finnish Pogue's though, can't let ssu have the satisfaction.

Not at hockey, but it is the Finnish golden age, so they are more competitive than usual. Don't sleep on the Fins, especially with that defense.

One wonders how far Svechnikov will fall in the draft due to the Russian factor, he's coming off wrist surgery, so this tournament is his make or break, if he doesn't light it up, could fall quite a ways.
