What if the forum was a D&D campaign?

Here is a little Christmas present for all of you.

The hardy band of adventurers started out under the sponsorship of the Noble Lord Carlin.
Their assigned task was to solve the problem that had befallen the Kingdom.
It seems corruption was the menace.
Carlin sought out adventurers from both sides of the divide.

You see the kingdom was divided into:

1)Followers of Gaia, the mother goddess that had spawned a cult of rabid warriors intent on inflicting her moral code on the general populace… Imagine the followers of the High Sparrow in GOT.

And

2) Followers of Mercury, the god of merchants and thieves… these acolytes preached a libertarian message of minimal government and maximum trade.

The trusty band got together to create a hybrid group of mercenaries… prepared to go out and defeat corrupt Orcs and Trolls.

However there was some dissention in the ranks.
Mage and Assassin Strangelove and Gaian cleric DrTrech frequently cast spells at one another.
The Trickster Thief DB frequently fomented uprisings among the band of merry adventurers… taking great pleasure in the chaos that resulted.
Veteran Warrior Smitty ended up in a legendary brawl and was exiled by Lord Carlin himself.

But the real crisis came with the Rise of Emperor Trump.
A new divinity was rising. The Great God MAGA…. A new religion for whom he was the Great Prophet.
A resurrection Cult perhaps?

Lord Carlin was driven mad by this new force upon the land.
Perhaps it had something to do with the arrival of Arch Thief NukeDog, agent of chaos extraordinaire.
A master of trickery his talents may not have been appreciated by Lord Carlin, we will never know for sure.

And soon the band of adventurers found themselves in exile.

But along came Lord Hash.
Hash had worked his way into the nobility… and is an uncommon mage/cleric/warrior/thief….
He is now our benefactor!

Go ahead and cast yourself in the tale!

Now a furious opponent of the cult of genderless warriors that claim to defend her.

The trickster thief began my education in the flaws of the warrior cult of Gaia a long ways back.

A is for Activist was simply the last straw.

Now I'm ready to throw fireballs...

I can see the Lawful thing as up for grabs.

For the most part everyone around here is probably going to class Chaotic Good.

Maybe some Neutrals.

Wields a whip and leather armor.

Trained as a Warrior under the Mercurians... but some Gaian tendencies.

Definitely averse to anything MAGA.
