The narration feels downright scoldy at times, lecturing the audience on how the real message of McMahon’s story is not the general’s own failings but the unwinnability of the war in Afghanistan—a point that would be better taken if most of the movie weren’t devoted to establishing the general as a deluded doofus.

This is a coordinated, never before seen, propaganda attack against JSOC and the last generation of Generals who were schooled in traditional American ideas.

What confuses me though...if Gen Flynn flipped on Trump and figures to be a star witness, why would CNN run a news piece attacking his character, particularly accusing him of making up "Flynn Facts"?

Flynn was head of the Defense Intel Agency, the military cousin to the CIA and NSA. Flynn stepped on a lot of toes telling the truth. Had the US media been working in the interest of the US people they would have jumped on this and it would have brought down powerful people, Obama, Clinton, the Gang of Eight guys like McCain, Clapper, Brenan, Comey. So they burned him. They are still exacting revenge on Flynn. It may be more important to them to utterly destroy Flynn than even Trump.

We need a deep cleaning in a lot of areas. I'm not aware of these types of issues in JSOC, but it wouldn't surprise me. It works hand in hand with the Intel Community and they have proven to be politically corrupt.
