Western culture certainly embraces looser sexual norms, and partaking of alcohol and cigarettes. Since those are pretty much the only criticisms that I see in the article, I have to admit they're true.

This would be a lot more entertaining, if they were pointing out general loudness, or overeating, or any of the other social differences between the two cultures.
