I remember his models when I studied economics. One of the moron's that assumed that the financial markets were so rational now that anything like speculative bubbles could simply not happen (along with Robert Lucas). Yet one of the new generation Keynesians.
Anyway, I don't think this is so important. Besides, he's 74 years old so might have truly some
personal reasons, like health.
