Will there be less recruits for the army during Trump?

Let's face he is not very inspiring in the presidential sense and that is not why he was elected. You guys think less people will want to join the armed forces?

I think less people wanted to join Under President Obama for his actions than they would President Trump

Who enlists to the Army because of the President?

Besides, there's not so many transgender people wanting to enlist to the Armed Forces anyway.

Somehow not their most likely habitat.

Judging by what we've seen, Mattis promising to cut out all the horseshit feelgood sessions, and get back to training, barring trannies and the witchhunt that was getting prepared, surging into Afghanistan again, and all the extra cash that comes with it, looks like the deluge of soldiers leaving service might slow down some.

It's less a question of recruits, and more a question of retention. Obama completely fucked retention.

Presidents decided about wars for some time now. There is a fuckton a flowery language around the nobility of service and Trump does not fit the picture as the Commander on Chief.
