Memo Confirms Literal Civil War

The memo at the heart of the latest blowup at the National Security Council paints a dark picture of media, academics, the “deep state,” and other enemies allegedly working to subvert U.S. President Donald Trump, according to a copy of the document obtained by Foreign Policy.

The seven-page document, which eventually landed on the president’s desk, precipitated a crisis that led to the departure of several high-level NSC officials tied to former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn. The author of the memo, Rich Higgins, who was in the strategic planning office at the NSC, was among those recently pushed out.

No, my goddam reference is the totally incoherent MEMO ITSELF! Read it and it makes no sense especially as a NSC document. That's why I took the link because Adwinistrator has the full transcript there, not just some parts of it. I guess it would be great for some talk radio host epic rant, but that's it. Something as incoherent as this isn't "strategic planning" in the NSC.

This is because it's just a illogical rant using various terms as just pejorative adjectives because they "sound good" to the ignorant reader. Yet when you really look at what the guy is saying, it simply doesn't make any sense. Just things like "Islamists ally with cultural Marxist because, as far back as the 1980s, they properly assessed that the hard left has a strong chance of reducing Western civilization to its benefit". Really??? So this Higgins idiot say that Islamist allied with leftist in the 1980s? The Islamists were goddam fighting Marxists in the 1980s and yes, every goddam leftist Marxist was then against the Islamists and for their great supporter, the Soviet Union.

And what about the "Maoist insurgency"? What makes the opposition an a) insurgency or b) Maoist? Nobody has answered this because of course there's no reason. The only reason is that "Maoist insurgency" just is such a good metaphor to use. In trash-talk radio. Well, in the National Security Council a "Maoist insurgency" means truly a Maoist insurgency. And there are even those still in the World. Not in the US.

And then "it's a huge conspiracy" when this kind of crazy is flatly rejected in the NSC and the guy is fired.

You can be critical as I was about the whole Iraqi WMD thing even before the war in 2003, but that doesn't mean you have to go with every idiotic nonsense there is. Because this memo simply is crazy. Especially crazy for a paper to be published in the NSC. And that's it.

If I would be a conspiracy theorist like you, I would think that this whole Higgins guy is working for the "deep state", making the whole argument so absolutely bonkers that anyone having even some knowledge would stay away.
