Millennials aren't ready for the 'reality of life'

Post by SilverEagle » Wed Jul 05, 2017 7:39 am

Are any of us really shocked by this?
The research found that more than half of prospective students don't know how to pay a bill and that many believe that nights out cost more than paying rent.
Researchers said that many would-be students have been left worried and confused by the prospect of leaving home to start higher education.
The study found 61 per cent of millennials are anxious about the prospect of starting university, while 58 per cent are having trouble sleeping and 27 per cent are having panic attacks.
This is the results from Boomers and Gen X trying to Nerf the world/bubble wrap the world/however you want to phrase it. Every kid gets a trophy! Every kid is special! Then you toss them out in the real world and they are completely lost. Its just like if you take in a wild fawn and raise it to maturity then release it into the wild. The animal freaks out and has no clue how to life on its own. It does not take long for the deer to fail and end up as a meal for a predator.

It's about a generation and not you personally. Get some perspective young one. There are fuck ups in every generation, the millennials just have a larger number of them and society needs to understand why so that we don't make it worse for Gen Z. Which it maybe too late for that already.

The names of these generations are starting to get all confused. The "Millennials" you're referring to were born around the Millennium. The "Millennials" of our past discussions were people who graduated from High School around the Millennium.

All the Boomer-bashing or Millennial-bashing is a sign of envy, spite & resentment. I will not contribute to any further discussion of them.

That's the hilarious thing about all this.

Boomers and millennials are self-absorbed generations on the whole. When you talk about this generational stuff, they get really pissed like it's personally about them. We have seen it a few times already.

It's just a boomer/millennial trait.

Saints, I suppose.

I've read about some death row inmates that were definitely hyped for it.
