I grew up in Texas and was raised to trust the government. Joined the Navy and never questioned old Uncle Sam. My first wife was from Mexico so due to federal laws, in order to get my wife legal papers we had to live in Juarez for a year so I experienced life in a third world country. Later my journeys me brought me to New Mexico.

Never have I seen third world lifestyle outside of thriving cities. What it has shown me is the US government can not run shit. Maybe it's governments worldwide. I don't know.

If you're waiting for the government to run healthcare please look at IHS (INDIAN HEALTH SERVICES). The government runs health care and they suck at it.

The VA is a more popular example but fuck. Look at the Indians.

You all know the story of the massacre but look at the aftermath. Casinos are cash crabs now but these people suffered because of the government. Times haven't changed.

Anything the government touches if FUCKED. There is no success with the government.

That part of the American Government that deals with Indians has a rotten diseased dunghill for at least 150 years. The rest of state and Federal governments go from different levels of competence, but not them.
