How Much More Alpha Was Theodore Than Most Presidents?
T. Roosevelt the judoka, boxer, soldier, explorer, naturalist etc. etc. makes people like Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Trump look like pansies really. Maybe only Jackson and Grant were more manly.

I suspect he was tough, but a lot of his public persona was pure theater. In terms of being alpha.. not much. Washington and Eisenhower were alphas. Most presidents.. not so much. Being alpha doesn't make you a great leader.
Hell, Julius Caesar was a huge power bottom.
Agamemnon: huge alpha; terrible leader.
Odysseus: beta; better leader.

Theodore certainly wasn't a "terrible leader". He was a natural leader that was gregarious and loud. Which a lot of leaders are and some are not. I agree being the loudest definitely doesn't make you good. Theodore was massively popular for years and years. Shit he almost won as a third party candidate. And could have likely won in 1920 had he been alive. He also had visions of empire which obviously is an offshoot of his dominance. Eisenhower would never beat you to death or give a speech after getting shot.Speaker to Animals wrote:I suspect he was tough, but a lot of his public persona was pure theater. To continue:
Teddy was the most famous man in the world. Riding up San Juan Hill, with a troop he assembled & led, in the only successful cavalry charge in history against an entrenched position against guns, his horse was shot out from under him, and both men to either side were killed. He lost his son while exploring the source of the Amazon in Ecuador, and ultimately died of the Yellow Fever he contracted there. His hunting collection was the start of the Museum of Natural History. He ESTABLISHED, organized, and funded as president the Conservation movement. His face is on Mt. Rushmore, for crissakes.
Not an Alpha! My god, what the hell else do you call that shit?!

Teddy was cool.
He was no Andrew Jackson, but still cool.

Teddy was definitely alpha. To the level of 'Man-child Brosef'.

Teddy is the second greatest man to ever live after Caesar.
I don't care if Caesar was the Queen of Bithinya, it was a different era
