Apparently Trump underestimated the job.
Who is surprised by this?

Not me.
In any case, there are some thoughts that, while true, are best kept to oneself. You'd think someone who has been in leadership roles for decades would know this.

He was never a CEO that had to report to a board of directors. I think many people conflate owning private business' (with or without investors) with being the CEO of a public company.apeman wrote:Not me.

Basically Trump is an real estate investor. That is totally different thing from being in a leadership position where you would have to lead people who basically have different agendas and objectives. Quite obvious that somebody like Trump wouldn't have leadership skills. What he could have had is the ability to form a good working team and be basically the spokesperson and the guy who keeps the administration in office as he does know how to campaign. Some in the team are quite good, but then he went with his son-in-law etc, so that's that.adwinistrator wrote: He was never a CEO that had to report to a board of directors. But when people wanted somebody who isn't a politician, they got what they wanted. And wasn't it better that nothing happens than Washington goes onward as business as usual?
