Is Easter Anti-Islam?

Post by heydaralon »

I have been thinking a lot about my privilege lately, and I am having a panic attack because the Easter dinner I am supposed to go to might reinforce the oppressive legacy of the Crusades. It is a Christian holiday with connotations of subjugation and Islamaphobia. Since Islam forbids images of animals, including pets, I have already had my cats put to sleep, but I am worried that the Easter Bunny might be a sign of idolatry and ignorance. Should I just tell my relatives to call off the whole thing?
