Liberty & Justice For All

As a Liberalist & attorney, it's clear to me that America's founding documents enshrine liberty & justice in no uncertain terms: "liberty" is a person makes their own decisions & the reaps the rewards or suffers the consequences thereof; while "justice" means there is no Class system so everyone has equality of opportunity to pursue their lives. However, when debating Collectivists, language is turned on its head and the terms liberty & justice are distorted into something unrecognizable. First, they insist the word "liberty" is simply a synonym for freedom, and no dictionary is going to change their minds. Secondly, they pervert the word "justice" to mean equality of outcome, a Marxist concept, and the antithesis of liberty. There seems to be no remedy for this divergence of thought short of physical conflict.
