Taleb: The Most Intolerant Wins
I saw this recent piece reposted today in light of recent European events.
Give it a read. NNT has support for several arguments and counter-arguments I've been seeing lately.

Definitely worthwhile. Love reading NNT. Applicable to more than just what's happening in Europe, too.

Let us conjecture that the formation of moral values in society doesn’t come from the evolution of the consensus. No, it is the most intolerant person who imposes virtue on others precisely because of that intolerance. The same can apply to civil rights.

How 'bout I don't? I'm reaching the point where nothing currently being published is worth more than toilet paper. Nobody has written a single fucking article that's been even remotely accurate all year. What's so different about this one?Give it a read

Read this article quite a while ago, very through provoking, unless of course you are nuke, then you have no need to take in information in non-meme formats.

I'm soaked with information. Absolutely couldn't take any more in. Doesn't make a damn bit of difference to me if you want to read your meme articles.

I now see minority rule everywhere after reading this a while back. Even in social situations where you're part of a group, the activity is not what everyone wants, it is what is unobjectionable to the most restrictive or limited member of the group.
