Democrats primed a bomb when they told their impressionable followers that Trump was evil incarnate, a bomb that is still live since Hillary lost. The most vulnerable of this cohort are the masochists, people who view their whole existence through the lens of victimhood, and revel in the pain.

A person who I travel with sometimes showed me a Christmas Facebook post from a woman she knew casually. It was a litany of depression ostensibly caused by Trump's election, the same kind of self-centered tantrum we've seen from The Left on Social Media. My friend told me this woman has been a cavalcade of woe-is-me her whole life, from trying to live in Saudi Arabia by herself, to moving to a small farm in Texas, also by herself. Just those couple facts were enough for me to suspect a masochistic personality, a person who indulges themselves through physical or mental anguish, or perhaps she has Narcissistic Personality Disorder, always wanting to be the center of attention, I'd have to interview her to know. Whatever, both conditions use therapy as their primary treatment, mostly to get the patient to recognize what they are doing & take responsibility for changing their actions.

It's actually a travesty because many of these marginal personalities, especially The Internet Left & other Special Snowflakes, have been pushed into clinical mental illness by Clinton's obscenely manipulative campaign tactics.

Masochists and Narcissists are like locks and keys.
And they tend to marry one another in classically dysfunctional dyads.

This pairing is also often framed in terms of "codependence" in the alcoholism literature.

The lady you are referring to seems like the classic "codependent depressive", often marrying a "narcissistic" alcoholic...
Trump of course is the prototypical narcissist with his ostentatious displays of wealth and pussy grabbing.

This is of course very depressing for your dame given that her life has been plagued by her attraction to and subsequent self-imposed "exploitation" by such sorts.

There is no shortage of this dynamic in our culture.

I suspect most politicians are narcissistic to some degree. Not so much as media personalities and Hollywood actors, though.

They hate Trump so much because he is more effective about it.
