This was a fantastic series on BBC radio 4 a few years ago. Really interesting with an eclectic choice of objects. I fully recommend listening to it.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

I went through it pretty fast. Very esoteric. Can't recommend to anyone but history buffs.

Yet another great book recommended by a forum member - thanks DeO. I prefer paper, but downloaded a sample and liked being able to view the objects in detail with more 'depth.' From now on, anything with art is going on the tablet unless there's some kind of patina/age to the paper that's more aesthetically pleasing and/or it has larger illustrations that can compare to viewing on the Galaxy screen.

Martin, this book is great for those who love art as well as history buffs. The objects are incredibly beautiful, even after thousands of years.
