When I inquired about my due process rights, I was told by the provost that I didn’t have any. Here’s the quote:
“There is no constitutional right to represent the University of Kentucky abroad. Nor is there a constitutional right to teach a particular class. Accordingly, the University has no obligation to provide you with due process.”
Why on Earth do any of you young people waste your time and money on college?
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Why on earth do Baby Boomer employers demand it, in order to get a job?
All the colleges have left is a monopoly on accreditation, but that can change. The employers I know would be open to a competing accreditation process. It will happen eventually.

Boom!
College by in large needs to die off. The useful material of a typical 4 year degree can be taught in about a year.
Absolutely agree. But I can't get a job without it, and that's really all that matters.
Nobody would go into massive debt 'just to learn' these days - it's all available elsewhere.
Yep, College is the new High School diploma. Except you have to get into massive debt. Glad that my wife and I are just old enough to when we went to school it did not break you. Our school loans have been paid off for years. I worry for our kids.

Ain't Capitalism grand?
No man's life, liberty, or property are safe while the legislature is in session
