Istanbul is popping off again but not Constantinople...And also Samuel Jackson

Meanwhile in America Samuel Jackson claims that Muslim Americans are the new black kids.

I didn't realize black kids were blowing up buildings and cars all over the world to spread a whacked out religious cause.

That sucks for Istanbul but Turkey and that part of the world can fuck off as far as I'm concerned. Your culture sucks, you contribute less and less as time goes on to modern culture, whatever.

As for Samuel L Jackson. Wonderful actor. But man...Hollywood...Get your shit together, that article and Sam is laughable.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

So laughable? I think it's his point of view. Not so whacky from where he's coming, but just shows how seperated the American people have come, as Jackson is telling about "them", the people in the rustbelt. Of course the Muslim community in general is more affluent than some other ethnic minorities, but to say any other group in the country is false.
"Muslims are getting arrested like black kids get arrested; Muslim Americas are the new black kids in America," Jackson then said. "Suspect as we are for the dominant culture, people don't understand them. People perceive them as a threat before even saying hello. But the Muslim community is present in our country. They are a vital part of our country and interestingly enough they have less crime, more education and their businesses thrive more so than any other group in the country. You tell people in the rust belt that, and they're like, 'Get out of here.'"
If all of them are "blowing up buildings and cars all over the world to spread a whacked out religious cause" is your point of view, then, ahem, some would just argue that you are giving an example that it's true what Samuel is talking about.

Less than 1% is not a "vital part" of our country

Also 0.00000001% is not a vital part of a religion. (citation needed)

Take it to the tiny Muslim minorities thread Clubby, it's currently languishing in 2nd to last place in the active topics list with no replies.
