Was there not a camper thread in the DCF?
What do you guys think of this setup?

Cool set up for some serious off roading.
Careful though or I am gonna spam this threads up with Uni-mogs again.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Looks simple and functional. I wonder how much room it takes up in the interior when stowed.

None. It folds out and automatically pitches the tent in like a minute.

Basicaly a trailer tent on a roofrack, I had a 12x6 roofrack on my last van and often thought about puting a tent up there for guests. Lots of rocking when you are getting it on though.

Can't go wrong with a Merc. My last one was 28 years old when I finally gave up on it. Even then it was only rust that killed it. Still worked perfectly.

That's not a detraction.

Might be in a crowded camper park.
Unless you are owning up to us as an exhibitionist?
Edit
That reminds me of when I had my little yacht. The fore cabin was so tiny my girlfriend used to have to be half way out the roof hatch when she was on top.

That Jeep upon which it is mounted can take you almost anywhere. Shame to take it to a campground at all.
