On Dec 26th 2016 an international group of citizens will leave Berlin, Germany and head to Aleppo, Syria.

It's time to act. We can no longer sit in front of our laptops and do nothing. We can't watch more news from Syria and do nothing.

We've had enough of clicking the sad or shocked faces on Facebook and writing “This is terrible” and “We're so powerless”.

No, we are not!

And we refuse to silently and passively take it anymore. We've withdrawn our consent to war and killings. We're ready to deny powerlessness. We want to go and help people like us, who just were not lucky enough to be born in Berlin, London or Paris. We will not tolerate the siege of Aleppo anymore. Civilians for civilians, we will walk, hand in hand, from Berlin, through the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Greece and Turkey, to Aleppo. We'll march along the so-called “refugee route”, just the opposite direction.

And we need you!
That's not how you crusade you silly SJW's

My god people are fucking idiots.

Reminds me of this

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Children's_Crusade
The variants of the long-standing story of the Children's Crusade have similar themes.[2] A boy began preaching in either France or Germany claiming that he had been visited by Jesus and told to lead a Crusade to peacefully convert Muslims to Christianity. Through a series of portents and miracles he gained a considerable following, including up to 30,000 children. He led his followers south towards the Mediterranean Sea, in the belief that the sea would part on their arrival, allowing him and his followers to march to Jerusalem, but this did not happen. They were sold to two merchants (Hugh the Iron and William of Posqueres) who gave free passage on boats to as many of the children as were willing, but then they were either taken to Tunisia and sold into slavery by the merchants, or died in a shipwreck on San Pietro Island off Sardinia during a gale. Some may have failed to reach the sea, dying or giving up from starvation and exhaustion. They were betrayed by some of the adults in their group.

There's gonna be a lot rape. A lot of it. And that's before they even leave Europe.

Aleppo's fall would be win for Russia, defeat for U.S. in Mideast
http://www.reuters.com/article/us-midea ... SKBN13U2YT
"Who won? Putin, the Iranians and Assad. Who lost? We did, and Jordan (where the CIA trained and armed moderate rebels), especially. The Saudis and Gulf states," said one U.S. official, who like others who spoke to Reuters, requested anonymity.

As Obama prepares to leave office on Jan. 20, his policies in the Islamic world have suffered a series of setbacks.
No shit Reuters, do tell...
Syria, though, is the clearest American defeat. Some U.S. officials spoke bitterly of Obama's decision not to intervene more forcefully in a war that has claimed more than 500,000 lives, forced millions from their homes and unleashed waves of refugees into neighboring states and Europe.
Well, sure, because that has worked well for us for the past 15 years.
"There was never enough of a political culture or base for the so-called moderate opposition to become strong enough . . . before Russian intervention or after," said Pillar.

But with Assad hampered by manpower shortages, the civil war that began after he crushed peaceful protests in 2011 will go on, compelling the continued involvement of Russia and the Syrian leader's other allies.
On the plus side, Putin and Dubya will have more shit to talk about at their best-friends-forever meetings.
Other U.S. officials warned that the conflict could escalate as flagging U.S. support for Assad's opponents could prompt Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey to intensify their military aid to rebel groups.

A second official, reflecting concerns shared by numerous others, said Saudi Arabia could funnel more lethal weapons to opposition factions, which raises the possibility that they eventually could be turned against Western targets.

"We've been pretty good at keeping stuff out of there so terrorists can't get their hands on it, but there's no reason for the Saudis to heed our warnings anymore," he said.
Wait.. I've seen this freaking movie before...

TL;DR: Remember the definition of insanity everyone?
HAIL!

Her needs America so they won't just take his shit away like in some pussy non gun totting countries can happen.

The Battle for Mosul seems to be going OK for the Coalition from what I can tell from the Global Event Map. Does anyone have any better sources? I haven't heard much regarding what's going on on the ground.

Just in case you were curious, Madeline Albright and Stephen Hadley have issued a "bi-partisan" paper concerning "how to draw down the Syrian Civil War".

Man thrust is, increase Axis casualties in hopes they fold and agree to federalize Syria.

That's nothing new. CIA has been pushing this plan for months. There are two other aspects of this podcast I found entertaining though...

1. The utter contempt these elitist show for the American people is disgusting. There is a comment Albright makes at 20:10-21:15 where she addresses Trump's use of unpredictability and says "I(Albright) happen to believe in multilateralism...Americans don't like multilateralism because it has TOO MANY SYLLABLES AND ENDS IN AN -ISM". She also says at 16:16 that the reason Americans have lost our post 9/11 blood lust is because of the "Karzai Effect"...implying the American public was turned off of foreign intervention because Karzai didn't properly thank NATO and then blamed NATO for fucking up the mission.

http://mest.atlanticcouncil.org/albrigh ... st-report/

2. The other interesting aspect doesn't have much to do with the above interview but more to do with Dan Carlin's appearance on this podcast in prior months commenting about "historical arsonist".

The host of the Hardcore History podcast joins War College to discuss some of the most powerful figures in history – men and women who burned down the world they were born into and — many generations later — are sometimes credited with laying the foundation for progress. But that doesn’t mean that’s what the arsonist set out to do, or that the people in their way were happy to pay the price.
