Starbucks (China).JPG
Tea is big in Asia. There is an infinite variety, most with some kind of stuff floating in it. I drank my first tea with milk in England in 1980, but when I actually lived in England three decades later, I didn't resume the habit, but I did buy lots of Coke. Coffee is mostly not available in China except the instant Nescafe type, but if Starbucks has its way, that's going to change. Starbucks is an American brand not afraid to open shops in trendy shopping districts & downtown. McDonald's is similarly brave, and I'll drink McDonald's coffee but Starbucks coffee is nasty, even though I'm from the PNW, where there is a Starbucks on every corner, sometimes 3 out of 4. Good luck China coffee-drinkers.McCafe.JPG
