Dictators
I think one of the major attractions to being a dictator is plastering your face on billboards & the sides of buildings. I saw it in Africa, The Middle East, and Central Asia is rife will unattractive visages of old men who like the looks of themselves.Preening narcissism is one of those dictator traits we all take for granted but don't really analyze much. Given the chance, would we all embrace the fame of absolute power via a love affair with ourselves? I suspect so. People can usually be depended on to view the world through a selfish lens: power doesn't corrupt, we are already corrupted, power just gives opportunity to means & motive.
