There’s always a good reason to restrict speech.
The people who want to ban it sure think so, but they have bad judgement as to the cost/benefit analysis, and think banning speech does more good than it does while simultaneously underestimating the damage done by doing so.

It doesn’t take long before any speech they don’t agree with is banned. Authoritarians always assume they will be the ones deciding what to authorize.

restricted free speech > incitement to murder

Don't spread conspiracy theories about Sharia Law, no-go zones and a Muslim take over of Europe.
Incitement to murder is something else. Restricting the speech of ridiculous beliefs, ridiculous conspiracy theories and ridiculous fantasies about the future, assumes that the only way to "defeat hate/bigotry/any values you don't want in your society" is by banning it. That works about as well as concluding that crime is gone because you've closed your eyes to it. There are perfectly good ways to marginalize people who believe in ridiculous or improper things without having to resort to laws and bans. It's called having and being a society. If you can agree on what values you all hold, there should be no problem in simply verbally chastising someone who engages in socially rude/disruptive/disrespectful speech that doesn't fit into the cultural values you hold as a society.

The ability to argue, to debate, to reason, to have an open and honest discussion doesn't neccesitate the abolition of speech and writing by those incapable of arguing, debating, reasoning or those unable to have an open and honest discussion. In fact an open, democratic society benefits from that contrast.
Fame is not flattery. Respect is not agreement.

You realize that you just gave him a reason to show what happens in US streets like Chicago, etc?

Seriously, he won't accept that his country is not only culturally fucked, but also generally.

It is not uncommon for people to be blinded to the problems of their nation, while only seeing the problems of other nations, especially if they are overly nationalist.

It is not uncommon for people to be blinded to the upsides of their nation, while only seeing the upsides of other nations, especially if they are not sufficiently nationalist.

Monte suffers from both, he can only see the upsides in the EU and the downsides in America, while only seeing the upside in the UK, if it's an upside shared by the EU.
