Absolutely. I mentioned Eisenhower in this thread earlier. That was a president I respected a great deal. He was before my time, but reading up on him makes me think he was the perfect man for the job at that time. Then again, its possible that I haven't read enough. Distant figures often seem larger than life, and their faults are not readily apparent. Carlus, what president if any, have you liked in the last 50 years? Which one is your favorite?
