Yet still monte brags, hilarious.

Only 8 countries out of over 200 have ever won the world cup. There have only been 20 world cups played. Sure, one in 20 is not great but if you want me to make a list of current world champions in ALL sports England v Canada I will but it will make you look rather inadequate.
How many teams entered the last ice hockey world cup?
We win more at hockey than you win at soccer, by far. Quit bragging, you have nothing to brag about, except in cricket and rugby, and really, who gives a shit? Hell even in those sports, you aren't anywhere near as dominant at them as Canada is at hockey.

Well except the Toronto Maple Leafs actually have a shot at winning the Stanley Cup again, whereas England will never win another World Cup, they won't even come close.
That too, shittier than the Leafs over the last fifty years is nothing to brag about.
Smitty-48 wrote:In terms of FIFA World Cups, England might as well be Canada, because they're not any closer to winning it than Canada is.
Being better than Canada at soccer isn't anything to brag about either, talk about a low bar.
In FIFA Women's Soccer they're not even better than Canada, Canada actually has as good a shot at winning a FIFA title as England has.

Like I said, them being good at soccer is a myth, they are fucking shit. They pulled one world cup out of their ass back in the day, they need extra time to do it, it was by the skin of their teeth, and they think they are good somehow, just ridiculous stuff.

Of course you do, hardly anyone plays ice hockey, come back at me when you win a team sport virtually every country on the planet plays.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

We dominate our sport, that's all we care about, when you dominate your sport, give us a call, in the meantime, you can dominate the tiddlywinks leagues all you like, nobody cares, not even in England.

Who cares about winning once, way back in the day, at a popular sport that suck balls? The English, that's who.

Clinging to that one world cup they pulled out their ass in 66', you suck England, you fucking suck. If Germany was united in 66', or the West Germans didn't stink it up in extra time, you wouldn't even have that world cup, you ain't good, just admit it.

The people of the world do not expect Canada to win the FIFA World Cup, they know that's not our sport, the world expects us to be dominant in our sport, and if Canada doesn't win, it's a national disaster, and everybody knows it, and we're not going to try to deny it, we dominate our sport, just like Brazil dominates their sport, we're the Brazil of Hockey, and just like Brazil, it's all or nothing, first in the world, or bust.

If the English want to be mediocre at a bunch of lame sports, that's on them. The Brazil/Canada way is infinitely better, the Brits have shitty sports ADD, while the Canada's and Brazil's of the world dominate our respective sports.

England winning the Cricket World Cup and not winning the FIFA World Cup, is like Canada winning at curling and losing at hockey, much as we like curling, neither we nor anybody else in the world would believe that the disaster of being unseated as the kings of hockey, could ever be mitigated by a curling win.

Edit, I got that wrong.
the world championships has been won
by Englishmen 53 times
14 Scotsmen
9 Welsh
3 Northern Irish
2 Australian
1 Republic of Ireland
and 1 Canadian.
There are many minority sports dominated by the British but as they are minority sports like ice hockey no one cares.
