3-2 Slovakia.

S-V-K! S-V-K!

That was fun.
:)
Canada better be ready, the Americans are going to be in a surly mood now indeed. They really screwed the pooch there, they owe their coach a shame game.

Makes tomorrow that much more interesting, gotta get up for the Americans outdoors, can't slack like they did tonight against Slovakia, if we know what's good for us.

Outdoor games are mostly junk, in those conditions, it's pretty much a toss up, Canada needs to weather the storm early, play the counter game, keep it simple, nothing fancy.

Yeah the ice is shit, rut city out there, can't get too fancy, by necessity. Simplicity is definitely key, the kind of game where the hockey gods play a larger than usual role, lets hope the favour us.

Cale Makar picks the five hole, 1-0 Canada, whoop whoop! Dube makes it 2-0, Yanks slacking in the first.

These refs suck, every call they make is shit today. Formenton gets cross checked gets called for a phantom slash, losers.

and Bellows makes us pay, with a perfect slap shot, fucking refs.

Good thing Oettinger can't handle these shots from the point he can't even see. Gotta love that snow baby, 3-1 Canada.

Outdoor games are junk, just a money grab, but the hockey itself is never great, everything is just reduced to hacking and whacking at it, there's no finesse, they just hurl the puck up and down, so pretty much comes down to the bounces, best players in the world, but they can't really make plays when they are plowing snow. Mind you, this is getting nasty now, so it's being saved by the aggro coming out.
