Do I need to make a character sheet? I rolled a 1 but I don’t know What my perception is.

All he has to do is not roll a 1 and you are dead.
I don't have anything to roll.

You roll for me. And don't roll a 1.

I just lolled myself silly imagining this situation.

This is why my D&D days ended by ninth grade...

The divide between nerds and non-nerds was getting to deep.

But it was a good run until then....

I secretly kept creating scenarios and characters and back stories... but I didn't like the nerds enough to play with them.

And maybe just not enough courage to own my nerd... who knows?

Yup. And just a little quiz for you and StA. Quoting from memory here, but which one of you will first recall which Drizzt book had the line: "...one of the students died a natural death in his sleep. A dagger through the heart quite naturally ends a man's life." :geek:
It’s been way too long. I read them all in high school tho.

I’m gonna say that was from the first one though.

How can he have the initiative? I would be catching him unawares, upside the head with a stick. :?:

Strike first strike hard doesn't gain the initiative in this game?

Yeah, that mechanic sucked balls.
Dex check to determine stealth, then a 2x damage bonus, if a rogue. Goddammit, did anyone actually play this game?

Lasted until 11th grade for me. It was quickly overtaken by Magic: the Gathering at that point. After high school, the only people still playing were difficult to be around. The basement dwellers.
