WE ALL take benefits. Most people take more than they pay for. And we all make less than we used to unless we do something to better ourselves. There is no standing still anymore. Embrace the challenge or sink, and I can't think of a more conservative value.

As to being a minority in your home town, cry me a river. My family's been in NYC for 360 years. We're all gone from there now because people willing to work harder moved in and took our place. Most people here aren't ethnic Americans (here so long that they don't have any ties to another country). The reality is that without fresh blood we stagnate. We would have faded away without that infusion. This country is great because we took the people with enough guts to try to make it here. We need to filter who comes in, not ban everyone.
