I fucking loathe this modern, moronic association being pushed by eurocrats of "European" meaning people who favor a more federalized, centralized EU. For someone claiming to be against nationalism, they sure love to employ the language of nationalism whenever they idealize what, and who, embodies true European values.

Globalists are in fact nationalists of a sort. They just belong to this urban, monoculture that controls most of the western cities.

They want no borders and demographic oblivion for the rest of us for the same reason guys like Ben Shapiro do it. It benefits their tribe to destroy our own, and to destroy our own they have to keep confusing enough people to get done what they cannot do honorably.

If by globalist we are talking about a "no borders" world situation, and the people who fight for that, then there aren't globalists (with any political power) in the EU. The only open borders they want, is that of a borderless zone within the EU - there are still borders going into the EU. Nor are any of them "world government" types. The federalists are generally isolated bubble-elites with their heads in the clouds. None of them want "demographic oblivion", either. They're fantasists, see themselves as champions of European values, ideals, principles and culture - an imaginary shared European culture, that is. As if Greeks or Bulgarians ever developed a tradition of democracy and Enlightenment Age ideas and values that Western and Northern Europe did. Federalists, whether they're the more economic sort who just want a huge market or they're the idealistic sort, they're not American progressives who whip themselves bloody because of their white guilt and obsess over their "privilege". They are, a sort of pan-nationalists in denial about being pan-nationalists.
