Yeah, I mean, compare Tatar at 5.3 to Connor Brown at 2.1StCapps wrote:You mean like Tatar?Smitty-48 wrote:It's not an outrageous contract for a 20+ goal scorer, unless of course, said 20+ goal scorer doesn't do much else to speak of.StCapps wrote:You mean aside from that contract?

Phaneuf looks a lot better in LA than he did in Ottawa, just a face in the ranks, no pressure, skating and shooting the puck again, he's loose, they love it there in LA.

Duncan Siemens, bust or late bloomer, probably more of the former, but he's been pretty good since he got called up, much to my surprise.

Duncan Siemens? Is he still around? Didn't he go 11th overall or something like that?

Yeah terrible pick, but he's finally starting to play in the NHL and he looks decent, playing well, which is shocking. Small sample size sure, but still.Smitty-48 wrote:Duncan Siemens? Is he still around? Didn't he go 11th overall or something like that?

Wow, 2011, that was a bad draft year for everybody except Tampa, the RNH 1st overall Tyler Biggs Stu Percy draft. . .
. . . but Tampa gets Kucherov, Namestnikov and Palat, Kucherov 58th overall in the 2nd round, Palat 208th overall in the 7th round.

Even if he turns out to be a player, an 11th overall pick who has done exactly jack shit seven years later, is a bust by any measure.StCapps wrote:Yeah terrible pick, but he's finally starting to play in the NHL and he looks decent, playing well, which is shocking. On the bright side, he's better than Tyler Biggs. Fuckin' Burke, man. I can laugh about it now, that's called closure.

Great finish in LA, 2-1 VGK., Fleury standing on his head, but Phaneuf lays a beautiful pass to set up Kopitar for a one timer, ties game with 10.8 seconds on the clock. LA comes back from down 2-0 to win 3-2 in OT.

You really are a pair of cunts. This thread was never boring.
