Yeah, I thought that might be it.. Was distracted by the central american selling absurdly overpriced chinese snacks in Trump Tower during a presidential press conference. Too much cognitive dissonance... i gotta lie down...pineapplemike wrote:@GCF As opposed to Grab Her By The Pussy, Grab Something Good being the tagline in Trump Tower is worth a

And by the way GoG, the Class War never ends, that's why you see them Yankees ceaselessly rubbing Dixie noses in the dirt, "Vae Victis!", "We won!" "Kneel before NYC Zod!" You ain't "Southrons" no more, now you just "Southerners", so make us a fuckin' sammich, bitches.

Anyone else read Smitty's posts on the Civil War and hear the voice of Roscoe P. Coletrain?

Thanks ape, but I was joking with you - my mom grew up on a farm in a very sparsely populated part of the Catskills. Her family has lived in the general area where Greene, Delaware and Schoharie counties come together for a long time. I can literally walk down the street in some of those tiny towns and I'm related to everyone I see. She's always bitterly complained about people hearing NY and thinking NYC. I feel the same way about NJ - I live in farm country far away from the turnpike or parkway.apeman wrote:PM'dMilSpecs wrote:apeman wrote:

Hey ape, what exit?
Edit: thought that was sincere and that you were upstate too

Wife is from Tupper Lake, and let's just say that when I go to NYC for work for the day I wake up at 4:30 am and take a train.

Nah, I'm not really very good at the Johnny Reb accent, my theatrical Dixie accent is Southron, Southron Gentleman, and it's perfect, but unfortunately, it's a dead accent, Southron just isn't around anymore, none of the "Southerners" talk like that now, they're all Johnny Rebs.DBTrek wrote: Anyone else read Smitty's posts on the Civil War and hear the voice of Roscoe P.
