Re: Europe Boring Until it's Not
I'm completely shocked at this terror attack.
I was just recently in this thread strongly berated for suggesting there was ANY hajji terror threat in England. It was argued so strongly that I just left the conversation and told them, its your country, if you are good with it I am.
How could this have happened.

This is why the BBC don't rush to speculate on these incidents. There is no evidence of an explosion as the mail points out. Rather than assume terrorism immediately the BBC wait for a police statement, like a responsible news outlet.Alexander PhiAlipson wrote:Parliament in lockdown: Police open fire outside Westminster and shoot knife-wielding man amid reports of explosion and 'at least 12 pedestrians mowed down on bridge.'
The BBC hasn't released much on this yet, but it's probably safe to assume there's no known motive.
The BBC have been reporting the incident live on radio and TV news channels since the incident occurred.
But glad to see you are not exploiting a terrorist attack to make some shitty ignorant point about the BBC.

I don't understand why the EU takes the immigration policy the way they do. It seems to me like there may be benefits to having some sort of confederacy but why would you agree to open borders and people from Poland being allowed to work in England for example? It doesn't make sense. The Eurocrats must have really been hitting the koolaid hard when they decided their was no more need for national sovereignty.ssu wrote:Perfect example of the hubris of the Brussel bureaucrats.SilverEagle wrote:Well this may speed up the demise of the EU. If the EU keeps a hard stance and forces immigrants into it's members countries then the Populism movement will gain even more momentum. EU countries will be leaving and regaining their sovereignty.

For them it's just a temporary inconvenience if some country doesn't accept the Brussel's line. . And that's why everybody hates them.

Still no evidence to prove this is related to Islamic terrorism but if it is as seems likely it is still a rare occurrence and not some indication of the end of civilisation and the rule of law.C-Mag wrote:

Don't be a dick CM, I never said there was no threat of an Islamic attack, I said there are no no-go areas and no Sharia law which is not the same thing.
The police have not released any details of the identity of the lone attacker yet so although likely it is still speculation to assume he was a Muslim.
By the way there was a bomb attack aimed at killing police officers in Northern Ireland last night.

There was no speculation from the BBC about the identity or motives of this attack either even though it is likely to be Catholic Republicans. This is how a responsible media conducts itself.

Strange how that happened.

What was strange? The lie about being berated for suggesting there was ANY hajji terror threat. I never did ANY such thing.Speaker to Animals wrote:C-Mag wrote:

So far this is an attack by a lone man of unknown identity and certainly not ANY proof that England is falling to Islam.
Diversity has been making us stronger for around 3000-4000 years. Those Anglo-Saxons you are so proud to descend from are only one in a long line of diverse multi cultural settlers who have made Britain what it is.

I am not sure if you realize this, but Europe has been under steady terror attacks for over a year now..

And yet it is still showing no sign of falling to Islam as your narrative would like to assert.Speaker to Animals wrote:I am not sure if you realize this, but Europe has been under steady terror attacks for over a year now..
