True - but the question is why has Africa failed to develop regardless of their shitty environment (and not all of Africa is a dessert). Scandinavia is a harsher place to live....Colonization? - perhaps...but so was South America....and while SA is not doing awesome (except for Chili)....it's a far cry from Africa...Why?
