Actually, if you watch and follow, she was quoting from a source, which was one letter that Coretta Scott King (the widow of Martain Luther King) wrote, that literally convinced Congress to not give Sessions the position of federal judge, 30 years ago (written in 1986 when the Republicans had the Senate majority and the Dems controlled the House). It's not slander if she is quoting from the letter, which is what she was doing at the time she got censored. This all reeks of political censoring/maneuvering on the Republicans part to get Sessions nominated as AG.

Except the first and last sentences, I agree. Sessions was the first successful "Borking," Republicans were too unaware or pussy, possibly both, to stop the game until Clarence Thomas, then Alan Simpson and John Danforth said to hell with that bullshit and the shit never worked again.
