What we need is an emotional appeal where ISIS fills the vacuum left in the wake of the US ousting Assad to counter it. Can't fight emotional appeals with logic, fight it with emotional appeals, like beheadings, raping women, throwing gays off of rooftops, drowning in steel cages, think of how much worse the gas attacks would be if ISIS had all the gas, etc.
