Re: Social Justice Warriors Thread
I think having a homosexual captain was problematic.
If you paid any attention at all to the previous series, you'd know that a captain often has to bang space princesses to win the day, and having an old queer as captain doesn't exactly inspire confidence amongst the red shirts.

It's no coincidence that Picard sent Tasha Yarr to die fighting the rock monster instead of the young buck in the red shirt.. So maybe for the male red shirts willing to go gay a little, it worked out.

I've never heard Picard sing but I'm 100% sure he is better than Kirk at it.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

He sang like shit too.
Notice how he rolls in and orders ales for everybody, but the ales are made by replicators for free from everybody's piss and shit. Totally gay.

Small Town Newspaper forced to shutdown
(Uranus, MO.)
I am pretty bummed out because this will be the final issue of the Uranus Examiner. We are suspending publication, read the main story by Louie R Keen and please read the managing editor Natalie Sanders story as well. It will give you an insight into small town politics and how the vocal minority suppress the majority.

Douche. Picard was banging Crusher on the regular, and had an ongoing affair with Vash.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 3:50 pmI think having a homosexual captain was problematic.

I swear to god, if they “ban” TOS though, they lose half their supporters.

Riker took up the role of Ship’s Sexual Miscreant on his behalf.Zlaxer wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 3:39 pmjediuser598 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 3:33 pmWell, I found out what's wrong with you.DBTrek wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 9:14 amThe only captain of the Enterprise that ever mattered hands out some red-assings to the perpetually offended.
Captain Picard is the best, by far.
For once I agree with Jedi. Kirk was a fucking 1960’s playboy - John Luke was a leader of men (including women, trans, gener fluid, bi, questioning, queer, etc.)

The Official Rankings of best to worst Star Trek Captains
1. James T Kirk
2. Benjamin Sisko - he only ranks 2nd because without Kirk there is no ST franchise
3. James T Kirk by Chris Pine, great job making the legendary roll his own
4. Jean Luc Picard - He was OK, middle of the road
5. Johnny Archer - Really not much there, he didn't degrade the roll too much, but didn't do much either
6. Kathryn Janeway - Forgetable, like basically her entire crew, the writing of the show was poor, the most memorable characters were a Holographic Doctor who really stole the show, and strictly eye candy 7 of 9.
