1. goes after Trans-National Crime - Drug Cartels
2. a Crime Task Force to restore Public Safety - Chicago
3. Blue Lives Matter - got a problem with this one.

Blue Lives Matter is as bad as Black Lives Matter. I'm not for special protections on groups. Hate crimes laws are stupid and so is this. People should be equally punished under the law. It shouldn't matter if I kill a middle ages electrician, a laino transgender goat loving freak or a cop. Whoever it is, there dead. I think we really take a detour when we say some people are more valuable to have a alive than others.

Plus, most the time, if you kill a cop. Cops are going to hunt you down and get some extra judicial revenge. Your wrong on this one Donald.

Steve Bannon’s past careers continue to be the gift that keeps on giving; we’ve previously reported on the top presidential adviser and Darth Vader fanboy’s attempts to break into the world of rap musicals and heavy-handed science fiction. Now, Boing Boing has dug up a Wired article from last year, revealing that one of Bannon’s old jobs was as CEO of a gold-farming company in World Of Warcraft.

They should be careful with meme magic. They do not understand what they are playing with.

Is it just me, or does there seem to be a prejudice among the current political class against people who've played video games? If that's true, does the prejudice make any sense?

Maybe add a little tongue sticking out emoji by his signature.

United States Code: Title 8: Chapter 12: Subchapter 2: Part 2: § 1182

Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.

Well, that was the statute that the Trump Admin. relied on in the order, so you wouldn't need to re-write it unless you just wanted to emphasize the source of his authority. Of course, a federal statute cannot contravene the Constitution, including the Due Process Clause. That seem to have been the sticking point before the 9th Circuit.

There's where they lose me. The Due Process Clause(s) only apply to US citizens, or, more broadly, people who are at least on US soil (wet foot, dry foot.) Unless, or perhaps because this is all purely political--*cough*--it's utter nonsense. How many assholes does it take to get/lift a temporary ban on a temporary ban? This is what they want to argue about?
"Keep signing shit, Mr. President--they're still catching up--'Rip Van Winkle!' Very funny Mr. President. Yes, we've had the constitutional toilet paper prepared for the correspondents' ball--are we still having that?"

If you're really interested in understanding things better, I would urge you to read the 9th circuit's opinion. It's really not that long or complicated.
