It's per capita. Do you even multiply? The Conservative wrote: Fri Mar 01, 2019 7:40 amYeah, China can't be that low... I'm sorry but they are king of every other kind of pollution practically.

So what was the purpose of you posting about record temps? You admitted you have no idea why it is occurring, and that things will be returning to normal soon. Yet you got all fussed up about people not staying on the topic, which revolves around climate change. Are you inferring that this odd couple of days of heat is due to man-made climate change?Montegriffo wrote: Wed Feb 27, 2019 11:25 am I presume you mean this one.We have now had the record broken 3 days in a row with London reaching 21.2C yesterday. 19C today .... is it now anything not within X degrees of "normal" is man's fault?
I don't know whether the abnormal jet stream activity is related to global warming or not. It does follow the pattern of unusual weather predicted to result from GW though.
It is more unexpected than snow in winter.
The forecast is for a return to average temps over the next few days but it has been a week of spring-like sunshine.
It's all fake fucking news. FAKEPartyOf5 wrote: Fri Mar 01, 2019 8:45 amSo what was the purpose of you posting about record temps? It’s Not About the Climate—It Never Was

Moreover, theory also indicates that daily maximum air temperatures should rise if carbon dioxide is the main driver of climate change. In fact, daily maxima have not changed substantially over the last eighty years, and before that, maximum air temperatures were much higher during the Dust Bowl of the 1930s.
Minimum daily air temperatures have increased, but that is associated with the warming of urban areas. Averaging these two extremes to get a daily average and then reporting that “this year is the warmest in recorded history” is highly misleading since most stations have a short record length and the warming is not due to carbon dioxide.
It's just a cynical attempt to make white people look like the primary perpetrators of environmental devastation when the truth is the exact opposite of that.PartyOf5 wrote: Fri Mar 01, 2019 8:48 am E-waste sounds like the people that reply all to every email at work when they only need to reply to the sender.![]()
Keep in mind that a good number of China's population lives in poverty and in rural areas where they probably don't have much e-waste.
Yeah, I don't see what would be wrong with the chart given it's per capita. Not that the distinction always gets registered by either those who want to implement environmental totalitarianism, or those on the opposite side who think pollution in large enough quantities cannot affect global climate. There are people who think it's the Western countries who need to stop breeding, stop producing, stop re-producing stop eating meat ("because it'll save the planet!") and generally stop consuming anything. They'd be quick to jump on that graph and start their flagellating routine.Hastur wrote: Fri Mar 01, 2019 7:53 amIt's per capita.
