In a way, it's a clever argument. He isn't wrong about what liberalism really is (social decay and degeneracy). But what he does is try to equate the freedom of speech with liberalism.

That's just not even true. Also, the problem with limiting speech by there being some random group of people who find the speech "harmful" would essentially limit all speech, unless by this he really only means his special groups get to define harmful. He actually argued against himself there. That was easy enough to counter if one cared.

The freedom of speech is just the freedom of thought, and without the freedom of thought you have no guarantee that truth will ever prevail anywhere. If you possess any fealty towards truth itself, then you really ought to support the freedom of speech. Which means people can say things you find offensive, wrong, or whatever, and you have to tolerate that in order to be able to pursue the truth yourself (and to express it).
